Fiona is an Osteopath who is passionate about gut health and wellness. She has a particular interest in treating adults with a range of digestive complaints using manual therapy techniques of visceral osteopathy and abdominal massage or 'stomach' massage. Fiona also has a strong interest in how stress and emotional well-being impact digestion and overall health in general. She strongly believes in the mind-body connection and how each may influence the other. She feels it is vital to address all causes of dis-ease in the body to help it function optimally and that mind-set plays an important role.

Fiona relocated home to Australia in March 2020, after previously having lived and worked in the UK for 21 years. During that time, she spent the last 10 years working in London as a massage therapist and later an osteopath, with a focus on both abdominal massage and visceral osteopathic treatments, assisting adults with a range of digestive issues, many who were stressed out London city workers. This included but was not limited to presentations such as constipation, reflux, bloating, SIBO, and general 'stomach' pain and discomfort, sometimes also known as visceral hypersensitivity.

Bringing together the knowledge and skills learnt from her training in the UK she is now practicing as an osteopath in Sydney, at The Body Project clinic in Chatswood & Blues Point Practice, McMahon's Point. She uses a combination of the techniques she has learnt over the years in all aspects of her education, training and continued professional development to aid people on their journey to optimal digestive health and general well-being.

In her spare time Fiona loves fermenting foods, walking and spending time in nature, brewing tea & drinking coffee and dreaming of her next trip overseas.
